Setting the Standard

The National Consortium for Physical Education for Individuals with Disabilities (NCPEID) is a national organization that plays a pivotal role in influencing the direction and development of the adapted physical education/activity field. Its mission is to promote, stimulate, and encourage legislative mandates, professional preparation, advocacy, and research in physical activity, physical education and recreation for individuals with disabilities.

We invite your submission for a proposal at our annual conference. Submissions are now open for poster presentations, free communications, round table discussions and emerging scholars symposium. Submission abstracts are due by April 15th (extended).

There are many NCPEID members who are making very noteworthy contributions to the profession. One of the greatest honors an individual can receive is to be recognized by his/her peers. We are now accepting nominations for the NCPEID Executive Committee (EC) and Board of Directors (BOD) positions for the 2025 election cycle. If you or someone you know is interested in serving, we invite you to submit a nomination. Nominations will close on April 1, 2025 @ 11:59 p.m.
